Lavender

Lavender has medicinal and anti-inflammatory properties due to its chemical compound, such as linalool and linalyl acetate which help with calming; as well as antimicrobial properties. Through the years, lavender has been used to help head aches, anxiety, and episodes of depression. Its been used to aid in menstrual cramps, yeast infections and cleaning/healing wounds. Lavender can be steeped in water for a tea or steeped in alcohol to make a tincture. It can also be infused with oil to be defused. This healing herb can be ingested, inhaled, or used topically. If you cut yourself or your having a really rough “time of the month” or feeling really stress and unmotivated, lavender just might be what you’re looking for. But of course, always do your own research to see how this herb can help you!
